Frequently asked questions

The questions restaurant owners ask us most. Creator questions are on the creator page.

Getting started

Which platforms does Eros support?

Instagram, TikTok and Red Note (Xiaohongshu). You pick the platforms for each campaign, creators deliver on the ones they have connected, and every post comes to you for approval and shows up in the same report, whichever platform it was on.

What is Eros?

Eros is an influencer marketing platform for local businesses and consumer brands in Toronto and Sydney, including restaurants, cafes, salons, fitness studios and food brands. You post a campaign, local creators who like your kind of place apply to it, you approve the ones you want, and you approve their posts before they go live. The whole thing runs in one portal, including scheduling visits and tracking results.

How is Eros different from other influencer platforms?

Most platforms give you a searchable list of influencers and leave you to chase them. On Eros the creators come to you: they apply to campaigns for places they actually want to try, so the post reads like a real recommendation. Every creator also has a rank score built from their delivery record, and puts a card on file before joining a campaign, so no-shows cost them, not you.

How quickly can we start?

Most businesses post their first campaign the same day they sign up. It takes about ten minutes to set up, and creators usually start applying within a day or two. If you want a hand with the first one, book a 15 minute call and we will set it up with you.

Pricing and payments

How much does Eros cost?

A standard account is $199 a month month to month, $149 a month on a 6 month plan, or $99 a month on a 12 month plan. Agencies and groups pay $250 a month plus $100 per extra brand, with lower rates on 6 and 12 month plans. That covers the platform: posting campaigns, scheduling, approvals, post tracking and reporting. Most campaigns are gifted, meaning the creator gets a meal, a treatment, a class pass or a product in exchange for the content, so your other cost is usually what you give. Paid boosts are optional. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.

Is there a contract?

Only if you want the lower rate. The monthly plan has no contract and you can cancel whenever you like from the Subscriptions page in your account. The 6 and 12 month plans lock in a lower monthly price for that term. Either way, you can end any campaign from your campaign dashboard.

Do I have to pay the creators?

Not usually. Most campaigns are a gifted experience or product, like dinner for two, a facial or a month of classes, in exchange for a Reel and a Story. If you want to attract bigger creators or fill a campaign faster, you can add a campaign boost, which pays creators $5 for every 500 followers of reach on top of the meal.

Creators and content

What if a creator does not show up or does not post?

Creators put a card on file before they can join a campaign. If someone no-shows, does not deliver, or turns out to have fake followers, you can charge them. Since we introduced this, visit and posting follow-through went up sharply. You can also see every creator's delivery record before you approve them.

Who owns the content?

The creator does. You can ask to reuse a post on your own channels and most creators are happy to say yes. When you do, they get credited. No quiet grabs of someone else's work.

Do I get to approve posts before they go live?

Yes. Creators upload the finished post in the app before it publishes. Eros checks the required disclosure tags and collaborator tag are there, then it comes to you to approve or send back with notes.

Results and reporting

How do I know if it worked?

Your dashboard shows reach, likes, comments, shares and saves for every creator and every post, updated while the campaign is live. For the outcome that matters most, watch covers on the nights you ran it, redemptions of any promo code you gave creators, and reservation link clicks.

What kind of results should I expect?

It depends on your offer, your area and how many creators you book. Our published case studies are restaurants, because that is where we started. For reference, B Boyz in Toronto reached 221,452 people at a 37.6% engagement rate across 5 campaigns, and Tommy Panini in Sydney did 423,139 views in its first month and was selling out daily before 2pm. The case studies show exactly what ran.
