Influencer marketing for restaurants and cafes

Fill quiet nights, launch a menu, or open to a full room. Eros brings local food creators through your door, gets their posts approved by you, and shows you what each one did.

What restaurants use Eros for

Filling quiet nights

Open visit slots only on the nights you need, like Tuesday and Wednesday, and let creators book those. Their posts go up while people are deciding where to eat that week.

Menu launches

Get ten creators in during launch week and your new dish is on every local food feed at once, which is what makes people come try it.

New openings

Line up creators for opening week so the feed is warm on day one. That is how Tommy Panini went from new shop to sold out before 2pm.

Events and specials

Run an influencer night, a tasting or a limited special, and get it covered by creators who actually want to be in the room.

Also a good fit for cafes, bakeries, dessert spots, bars and packaged food brands.

Restaurant questions

Does influencer marketing work for restaurants?

It works best for restaurants because people decide where to eat from their feed. A post from a local creator lands in front of people who live nearby and are already looking for somewhere to go. Tommy Panini in Sydney went from opening to selling out daily before 2pm, and B Boyz in Toronto reached 221,452 people across 5 campaigns.

What should a restaurant offer creators?

Most restaurants offer a gifted meal, usually for two, in exchange for a Reel and a Story. Make it a proper experience: your best dishes, a good table, and a time that suits you. If you need bigger creators or a faster fill, add a campaign boost.

Nano or micro creators?

For one location, mostly nano and micro. Their audiences are local and they get far more engagement per follower. Ten small creators near you will usually do more for your covers than one big account whose followers live in another city. Our guide to creator tiers goes deeper.

What if a creator does not show up or does not post?

Creators put a card on file before they can join a campaign. If someone no-shows, does not deliver, or turns out to have fake followers, you can charge them. Since we introduced this, visit and posting follow-through went up sharply. You can also see every creator's delivery record before you approve them.
